The Mid - Autumn Festival is coming. 

It is the second-most important holiday after Chinese New Year with a history dating back over 3,000 years.

The festival celebrates around three topics:

Gathering, family members will gather together from no matter where they work to celebrate the harvest. Also, it is said the moon is the brightest and roundest on this day and people will eat mooncake which means family reunion. This is the main reason why the festival is thought to be important.

Thanksgiving, to give thanks for the harvest, or for harmonious unions. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, there is a custom of worshiping the moon. On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, people will set up a large incense table under the moon in the yard, and put moon cakes, watermelons, apples, plums, grapes and other offerings to pray for a good harvest in the coming year. It is indispensable.

Praying (asking for conceptual or material satisfaction), such as for babies, a spouse, beauty, longevity, or for a good future. Children will play in groups, carrying lights in the shape of animals or fruits, and walk along the street with songs. It means a bright future for them.
